Perhaps if you haven't watched any of the series yet you could find this recap helpful, but as someone that has already seen the episodes leading up to it, it was quite useless. I suggest skipping/ignoring it. I didn't notice anything unique that I didn't see in the show, despite the fact that the previous episode alluded to their being information that was missing from the scene/not adapted from the manga. Such scenes seemed nonexistent, or perhaps they were just referring to them pointing out things that one will have already picked up on, so again seemed pointless. I don't really know how to writea longer review on a recap episode, but I think that as far as recapping goes, they missed out on a lot of things I felt should have been included, especially about the main character or about the mechs or about the aliens, rather than seeming to solely focus on the relationships for the entire recap.
