Synopsis:
Takashi Natsume, inheritor of a unique ability to see spirits and a legacy from his grandmother, navigates a world where the mundane and supernatural intertwine. Tasked with returning names to lost spirits from his grandmother’s Book of Friends, Takashi's routine is disrupted by encounters with lingering entities and forgotten histories. Drawn to the past, he journeys to a town linked to his grandmother, forging connections with locals and piecing together fragments of her life.
Alongside his spirited companion Nyanko, whose impulsive actions often lead to unforeseen consequences, Takashi confronts mysteries surrounding a peculiar Spirit Seed and its transformative effects. The narrative explores themes of memory, familial bonds, and the subtle ways the past shapes the present. The series presents a thoughtful atmosphere, blending moments of quiet introspection with explorations of folklore and the unseen world.
