Synopsis:
Four individuals, each carrying the weight of past betrayals, find unexpected camaraderie in a dimly lit tavern. Veteran adventurer Nick, mage Tiana, cleric Zem, and half-dragon Curran converge, sharing stories of loss and disillusionment. Haunted by broken trust, they harbor a profound skepticism towards others. Driven by a shared need for change – and a distinct lack of resources – these outcasts form an unlikely adventuring party. Their goal is simple: accumulate wealth to indulge in personal passions. However, their quest for financial stability inadvertently sets them on a path to confront a looming darkness threatening the world, forcing them to reconcile their cynicism with the potential for redemption and purpose. The series explores themes of trust, healing from trauma, and finding value in unexpected connections within a richly detailed fantasy setting.
