Synopsis:
In a world where immortality is rumored to be attainable through consuming mermaid flesh, the pursuit of eternal life carries a perilous cost. Fifty-five years ago, Towa Kannagi received a life-altering transfusion of mermaid blood from her sister, granting her prolonged youth but leaving her with visible physical changes and an enduring yearning for complete restoration. Driven by this desire, she seeks out unconventional methods, relying on the assistance of a local physician.
When Mana, Towa’s close companion, is mistakenly presumed deceased and brought to the doctor's care for a blood transfusion, the fragile balance of their existence is disrupted. The truth of Mana's survival throws Towa's desperate plans into turmoil, forcing difficult choices as she confronts the potential consequences of her relentless pursuit.
