Synopsis:

In a near-future Neo-Saitama dominated by advanced technology, long-dormant forces from Japan’s feudal past are reawakening. Centuries ago, elite ninja warriors achieved a forbidden form of immortality, preserving their souls for a future resurgence. Their history subsequently erased, these figures now emerge as spectral entities, disrupting the city's underbelly.

Fujikido Kenji, a grieving salaryman haunted by tragedy, finds himself unexpectedly bound to one such soul. Transformed into Ninja Slayer, he becomes a grim avenger, driven by vengeance against the resurrected ninja who destroyed his family. The series unfolds within a shadowy urban landscape, depicting brutal, close-quarters combat as Ninja Slayer battles the Soukai Syndicate and other spectral threats. It explores themes of loss, identity, and the clash between ancient traditions and futuristic society, offering a visceral and character-driven narrative experience.
