Synopsis:
In a startling turn of events, fifteen-year-old Ren is displaced through time, finding himself thrust into the vibrant yet perilous world of 10th century Kyoto during the Heian period. He quickly discovers a world steeped in ancient folklore and embroiled in a conflict between humanity and powerful oni. Stripped of his familiar surroundings, Ren must navigate this unfamiliar era while grappling with the implications of his unexpected arrival. The series explores themes of cultural clash, adaptation, and the weight of historical forces. Amidst bustling cityscapes and serene temples, Ren encounters individuals caught between tradition and change, forced to confront both external threats and internal struggles as he seeks a path forward in a world not his own.
