Synopsis:
In a quiet neighborhood, Aoyama, a young boy possessing unusually mature intellect, finds himself navigating the complexities of childhood teasing and budding affections. His world takes an unexpected turn with the sudden appearance of penguins, inexplicably populating his surroundings. Drawn into the mystery, he teams up with a woman he recently met, embarking on a journey to understand the penguins' origin.
Their investigation leads them to a strange, levitating sphere they call "The Sea," a conduit for oblivion. Aoyama and his companion discover that the penguins are uniquely capable of disrupting The Sea’s influence, but their actions unleash unforeseen consequences. The series follows Aoyama’s evolving research and personal challenges as he delves deeper into the enigmatic phenomenon, exploring themes of responsibility, curiosity, and confronting unsettling truths hidden beneath a seemingly ordinary world.
