Synopsis:
Takao Taniguchi's aspirations of continuing his baseball career are sidelined after a minor injury. Transitioning to Sumitani High School, he finds himself drawn to the baseball club, though physically unable to participate. A chance encounter with the soccer team captain leads him to join the soccer club, a decision driven by a desire for continued athletic engagement.
Despite being a novice, Taniguchi’s tenacious work ethic quickly gains the respect of his teammates. However, his passion for baseball remains undimmed. He secretly pursues opportunities to umpire local games, navigating the complexities of finding a new path while holding onto a cherished past. The series explores themes of perseverance, adaptation, and the enduring power of passion in the face of unexpected changes within a high school setting.
