    Synopsis:

    Set in the region of Kanto, *Pokémon: The Origin* follows Red as he embarks on a journey to comprehensively document the diverse world of Pokémon. Entrusted with a Pokémon and a comprehensive encyclopedia by his uncle, the renowned Dr. Ookido, Red strives to catalog every species. The narrative explores themes of self-discovery alongside the pursuit of mastery, as Red navigates challenging Gym battles against regional leaders and ultimately aims for the Pokémon League Championship.

    Red's path is complicated by the presence of Team Rocket, a clandestine organization exploiting Pokémon for their own gain. His journey tests not only his skills as a trainer but also his understanding of the responsibilities that come with connecting with these extraordinary creatures. The anime presents a detailed look at the early days of Pokémon training, exploring the bond between trainer and Pokémon against a backdrop of regional exploration and emerging threats.
