Synopsis:
Generations after a catastrophic event rendered Earth uninhabitable, humanity now exists primarily within DEVA, a vast digital haven orbiting the planet. Life in this virtual world is largely idyllic, but the tranquility is disrupted by Frontier Setter, a hacker who sows discord through coded messages. Angela Balzac, an agent of DEVA’s security forces, is tasked with apprehending him. Her pursuit leads her to Earth, where she assumes a physical form to confront the threat directly. Partnered with Dingo, Angela navigates the desolate landscape, uncovering layers of hidden truths about both the ravaged world below and the seemingly perfect reality above. The narrative explores themes of identity, control, and the nature of existence in a world where the lines between virtual and physical blur, prompting questions about what constitutes a worthwhile life.
