Synopsis:

Sasaki, a disillusioned office worker seeking quiet anonymity, experiences a profound shift when he adopts a seemingly ordinary Java sparrow named Pii-chan. This bird reveals itself to be the reincarnation of a powerful magician, granting Sasaki abilities and the ability to travel between worlds. Initially, Sasaki leverages this newfound power for personal gain, exporting technology from his world to another.

However, intervening in an assassination attempt draws the attention of Hoshizaki, a government agent tasked with monitoring individuals exhibiting extraordinary abilities. Recruited into her clandestine agency, Sasaki becomes embroiled in perilous missions to track down other gifted criminals. He discovers he’s caught in a larger conflict as a war looms in the world where Pii-chan originated. Now, burdened with unexpected responsibility, Sasaki must navigate the complexities of both worlds and embrace a role he never envisioned: a reluctant protector striving to maintain balance between realities.
