The animation follows a young woman navigating the complexities of modern life in a bustling urban environment. She grapples with feelings of alienation and the overwhelming noise of society, seeking moments of quiet contemplation amidst the constant stimulation. The narrative explores themes of identity formation and finding personal meaning within a world that often feels impersonal.

Visually, the series utilizes dynamic camerawork and striking imagery to convey the protagonist's internal state. It blends elements of slice-of-life with introspective storytelling, prioritizing emotional resonance over straightforward plot progression. The overall atmosphere is melancholic yet hopeful, inviting viewers to consider their own place within the larger human experience. Probably just my goldfish memory, I have no recollection of this song from the movie, however, I do remember it playing in the Uta filler episode and love it. I'm happy it got an entry on MAL so I can justify dropping a phat score on it. Something about this song fills me with sadness and regret about a childhood I never had, it makes me feel nostalgic and homesick somehow, it connects me to Uta in a way I never knew I found relatable. I love how the visuals show the innocence of the young, and also the despair of loneliness and the lack of ameaningful link.
