Synopsis:

Ritsu Onodera, a literary editor burdened by his father's reputation, seeks to forge his own path in the publishing world. His move to Marukawa Publishing places him under the demanding guidance of Masamune Takano, the assertive and results-driven editor-in-chief of the Emerald department. The fast-paced environment and relentless deadlines of the editing room create a backdrop for unexpected connections. Unbeknownst to Ritsu, Takano is a figure from his past, a high school love from whom he retreated due to heartbreak.

The series explores the complexities of rekindled relationships against the backdrop of professional ambition and personal vulnerabilities within the manga industry. As Ritsu navigates his career and confronts his lingering feelings for Takano, the narrative delicately examines themes of second chances, emotional barriers, and the often-turbulent nature of first love. The story unfolds through interwoven narratives, offering glimpses into the developing dynamics of three couples navigating their own journeys of affection and self-discovery.
