Synopsis:
Amidst the backdrop of a devastating conflict between Gallia and the East Europan Imperial Alliance, the Nameless, a penal military unit, exists in a precarious state of perpetual flight. Branded as outlaws by both sides, their struggle for survival is interwoven with the larger war's brutal realities. The unit’s already tenuous situation is complicated when they encounter Isara Welkin, a wounded tank driver seeking refuge after her squad’s disastrous mission.
This encounter forces Kurt Irving, the Nameless' leader, to confront a moral dilemma: remain hidden and preserve their own existence, or risk everything to assist a nation that views them with hostility. The anime explores themes of loyalty, redemption, and the complexities of morality within a world consumed by war, painting a portrait of weary individuals navigating a landscape devoid of easy answers. It presents a narrative focused on interpersonal dynamics and difficult choices rather than grand spectacle.
