Yugo's frequent bedtime stories recount her experiences as a visitor to a floating realm populated by fantastical creatures. There, she forged a bond with Lala, a spirited animal, and Uncle Bear, who served under the previous ruler. Their peaceful existence is disrupted when Lala is chosen to succeed the former monarch, prompting feelings of displacement and uncertainty in both Lala and Uncle Bear. Yugo returns to the cloud kingdom to find a changed environment and a growing sense of unease.
