Synopsis:
The narrative unfolds within the walled city of Stohess, focusing on two interwoven storylines. Annie Leonhart, burdened by a clandestine mission, enlists the aid of Hitch Dreyse to conceal her absence. In return for this favor, Annie undertakes a desperate investigation into the disappearance of Carly Stratmann, daughter of a prominent city figure. Racing against time and navigating the shadowy underbelly of Stohess, Annie’s pursuit reveals a complex web of corruption surrounding the illicit drug trade and hidden truths within the Stratmann family.
Simultaneously, Mikasa Ackerman grapples with fragmented memories and unsettling visions. Haunted by past traumas and anxieties for Eren Yeager's safety, she finds herself reliving altered versions of pivotal moments. The story explores themes of fate versus free will as Mikasa confronts the possibility that some events are predestined, regardless of her efforts to change them, blurring the lines between reality and nightmare.
