    Synopsis:

    The Survey Corps undertakes a solitary reconnaissance mission when Hange Zoë, driven by insatiable scientific curiosity, disregards protocol to pursue a titan sighting. Her unconventional approach leads her to uncover the hidden legacy of Ilse Langnar, a former scout whose final diary offers potentially pivotal insights into titan biology. The discovery raises questions about the true nature of titans and the sacrifices made in the pursuit of understanding them.

    Meanwhile, Jean Kirstein's aspirations for a comfortable life within the Military Police are constantly undermined by the challenges of training. Frustration with his peers culminates in a defiant challenge to Sasha Blouse, a gamble to prove his strength amidst a demanding environment.

    During a seemingly routine horseback expedition into the forest, a group from the 104th Training Corps finds themselves unprepared for unforeseen circumstances. Internal conflicts over mission priorities threaten to unravel their efforts when unexpected danger emerges, forcing them to confront the consequences of their divided focus. The story explores themes of ambition, duty, and the fragility of order in the face of the unknown.
