    Synopsis:

    Shingetsutan follows Shiki Toono, a high school sophomore who unexpectedly gains the ability to perceive the invisible lines that bind all things. These lines, when severed by him, result in the immediate disintegration of whatever they connect. Initially attempting to live a normal life while concealing his power, Shiki's quiet existence is shattered by a fateful encounter with Arcueid Brunestud, a vampire princess.

    After a disturbing incident leaves him facing imminent death, Arcueid intervenes, offering an alliance. Together, they investigate a series of unexplained deaths and delve into the mysteries surrounding their own intertwined histories. The narrative explores themes of identity, mortality, and the consequences of wielding extraordinary power within a world where the fundamental structure of reality is subtly fragile. The story unfolds with a contemplative atmosphere, balancing moments of suspenseful investigation with introspective character development.
