Synopsis:
Set against a backdrop of feudal Japan interwoven with mythical elements, this story follows the unlikely bond between Inuyasha, a half-demon burdened by a fragmented soul, and Kagome, a modern girl transported to the past. Drawn together by a shared purpose – to collect sacred shards and prevent a rising darkness – they navigate treacherous landscapes and confront supernatural threats. The narrative explores themes of belonging, sacrifice, and the complexities of forging connections across divides. Their journey is marked by both intense conflict and quiet moments of camaraderie as they grapple with their individual histories and the weight of their intertwined destinies, all while facing enemies who seek to exploit the land's spiritual power.

These are fun to watch! About 30 seconds each, I think both can be found on YouTube. I’m fairly certain that these are promotional videos made to promote the manga before the anime was made! You can see the difference between art styles, one contains the early manga art style including Kagome with less spiky bangs and a more yellow-green uniform, as well as Inuyasha in a pink outfit instead of a dark red! While the other is closer to the anime color and style and includes Koga as well! The most striking is probably Sesshomaru looking younger with rounder eyes like he appears inhis introductory chapter nnIf you like Inuyasha or Rumiko Takahashi, totally check these out! It only takes a minute :)
