Synopsis:

The narrative follows Sakisaka Saki, a graduating high school student harboring unspoken feelings for her sister's former partner, Kaname. Her aspirations for a fresh start at university are complicated when she discovers Kaname is also attending. Drawn into his college video club during orientation, Saki finds herself caught in a complex dynamic. Kaname expresses a keen interest in filming her, a situation further intensified by the persistent affections of Daichi, another student harboring secret feelings. The series explores themes of hidden desires and shifting relationships within the backdrop of academic life. It delicately examines the challenges of navigating unspoken emotions and the potential for connection amidst tangled affections, presenting a character-driven story focused on interpersonal dynamics rather than grand external conflict.

God bless the aesthetic of early 90s OVAs which are lucky to survive as digital transfers of the VHS tape. This anime one-shot is a touch slow, but it's a complete story that's affecting if you're into 90s-era shoujo at all. Most of the episode is structured around one-on-one conversations about the characters' feelings and there's not too much of a conflict because the problem at hand is the main character's *perception* of a conflict. She doesn't want to be selfish, but there's nothing actually standing in her way because the problematic relationship is already over. Understanding that things do not necessarily last forever is animportant part of growing up, and I liked the ways the characters came to realizations of that effect.nnIt's not deep or lavishly animated. It's not complex or notable. Nonetheless, it is enjoyable.
