Synopsis:

A thousand years of isolation have ended with the shattering of a magical barrier, revealing a new world to those long confined. Amidst burgeoning interest in this previously unreachable realm, a peace delegation is formed to initiate contact with its inhabitants. Lina Inverse, a skilled sorceress known for her formidable abilities, receives an unexpected proposition from Filia ul Copt. Filia, impressed by Lina's reputation, requests their assistance on a task that requires crossing the newly opened boundary. Before embarking on their journey, however, she challenges them with a dangerous test of skill – a confrontation with a dragon within a bustling city. Succeeding in this trial, Lina and her companions set forth into the unknown, where they will encounter unfamiliar landscapes and become entangled in a cryptic prophecy that hints at looming conflict. The series explores themes of exploration, responsibility, and the consequences of bridging long-separated worlds.
