Synopsis:
In the quiet town of Seize, nestled on the edge of Helvetia, life continues at a steady pace despite rising geopolitical tensions with the Roman Empire. The story centers on the 1121st Platoon, stationed at the Clocktower Fortress, and the arrival of Kanata Sorami, an enthusiastic recruit eager to master the bugle. Under the guidance of Sergeant Major Rio Kazumiya, a seasoned trumpeter, Kanata finds herself integrated into a close-knit unit.
The series explores the everyday lives and evolving relationships within the platoon – alongside members Noël Kannagi, Kureha Suminoya, and Captain Felicia Heideman. Set against a backdrop of looming conflict, the anime emphasizes the importance of community, finding moments of peace and camaraderie in the face of uncertainty. It offers a contemplative look at personal growth and the enduring value of shared experiences within a uniquely situated society.
