Synopsis:

The world exists alongside Magano, a realm teeming with monstrous entities known as Kegare. Sousei no Onmyouji follows Benio Adashino, a highly skilled exorcist summoned from Magano to Tokyo by the Exorcist Union. Her journey takes an unexpected turn when she encounters Rokuro Enmadou, a fellow exorcist carrying a hidden burden.

Their paths converge when they are drawn into Magano during a desperate rescue mission involving stolen children. A fierce battle reveals Rokuro's formidable abilities, establishing him as a peer to Benio. The narrative explores their intertwined destinies as the prophesied "Twin Star Exorcists," linked to a future Miko – a reincarnation of a legendary sage – tasked with purifying the world from spiritual corruption. The series examines themes of destiny, rivalry, and the weight of responsibility in a world grappling with unseen forces.
