    Synopsis:

    Matoi Sumeragi's quiet existence, balancing school and work at her friend's family shrine, is shattered by a sudden intrusion. A Night, a being from another dimension, attacks the sacred ground, triggering latent powers within Matoi. This event pulls her into a world of hidden forces and ancient conflicts.

    Alongside her close companion Yuma Kusanagi, Matoi finds herself navigating a landscape populated by exorcists and clandestine organizations dedicated to defending humanity from supernatural threats. The arrival of Claris Tonitolus, an exorcist with considerable experience, and Haruka Luciela, an agent from the IATO, further complicates her journey. As Matoi grapples with her newfound abilities, she must confront the escalating attacks and uncover the mysterious entity behind them—all while striving to preserve a sense of normalcy in a world rapidly transforming around her. The series explores themes of responsibility, identity, and the delicate balance between the ordinary and the extraordinary.
