The narrative follows Yuuta Hoshitani and his peers as they navigate the complexities of artistic expression and institutional authority. Set against the backdrop of a school preparing for its annual Ayanagi Festival, the story centers on a group of second-year students eager to collaborate on a performance without the guidance of their usual mentors, the Kao Council. Their ambition to create a joint production is unexpectedly thwarted when the Council assigns them a specific role in the opening ceremony. This decision ignites resentment and forces the students to devise a plan to overcome the Council’s restrictions and realize their shared artistic vision. The series explores themes of autonomy, creative freedom, and the challenges faced when individual desires clash with established structures, all within the context of high school camaraderie.
