Synopsis:
In a vast, desolate landscape, a young dinosaur named Straw-saurus Neo embarks on a journey across an unfamiliar planet. It's amazing what you can make out of straws... this for example! Gonna be kinda akward describing this work... This is a 5 minute long Diorama-esque work, with most of the creatures (not all of them are Dinosaurs or Dinosaur-like at least) being made out of straws. It's very cute and very creative. Story: 4 The work basically portrays the life of...what I think is an Elasmosaurus? but let's call him Elasmostrawrus, emerging from the Sea and trying to find food and survive in his plastic primordial world. Poor Elasmostrawrus gets bullied by some Velostrawraptors (Velociraptors) and then gets carried off by Pterostraw (Pterosaur) who stealspoor Elasmostrawrus's food and then drops him, knocking him unconscious. Elasmostrawrus then starts dreaming, and things get... Trippy...nnArt: 7nnI think you'll either love this or hate this. Personally I liked it. All the creature models were impressive, although sometimes quite difficult to figure out what things are supposed to be what. The set is pretty much a diorama setup, although with some nice flame effests for the Volcano. I think the Sea and the Beach maybe could have been done a little better however.nnSound: 4nnWhat little actual music there is rather random, noises building to dramatic moments. Other than that there's just squeaks and squawks from the various straw animals.nnCharacters: N/A but put 1nnYeah...I don't know what to put for this? there's a couple of different animals, none of them do anything particularly extraordinary except for our MCnnEnjoyment: 8 & Overall: 8nnThis was fun! I love anything creative, especially Dinosaur themed! Really enjoyed the first half, second half and ending was kinda confusing though. Shame it is just one short episode, I could easily see this being made into a couple of short episodes, with something different happening in each episode. But even if that did happen, it probably wouldn't likely appeal to everyone. I'd recommend this to pretty much anyone. There's no complicated plots (there really isn't one at all) it's a nice and easy (and fun!) watch.
