Synopsis:

Life in Itogami Island’s Demon District shifts drastically for high school student Kojou Akatsuki following a transformative encounter. He awakens with extraordinary vampiric powers, quickly revealing himself as the prophesied fourth primogenitor – a figure of immense, almost mythical power. The Lion King Organization dispatches Yukina Himeragi, a skilled sword-shaman, to observe and potentially eliminate Kojou should he pose a danger.

Their paths converge, forging an uneasy partnership as Kojou grapples with his newfound abilities. Together, they confront escalating threats to the city, navigating complex moral dilemmas and the weight of their respective burdens. The series explores themes of destiny, control, and the difficult choices required to safeguard a fragile world, all within a setting blending supernatural elements with contemporary high school life.
