Synopsis:

The series centers on a pragmatic office worker whose dedication to golf unexpectedly shapes her daily life. Set against a backdrop of modern urban Japan, the anime explores the subtle ways passion and routine intersect. While seemingly lighthearted, the narrative delves into themes of personal fulfillment and finding unexpected joy within structured environments. The protagonist's pursuit of improvement in the sport becomes a metaphor for navigating the challenges of everyday existence, engaging with colleagues and confronting personal aspirations. It offers a gentle, character-driven experience focused on relatable struggles and quiet triumphs rather than high-stakes conflict or fantastical elements. The animation style emphasizes realistic depictions of the setting and characters' interactions, lending a grounded quality to the narrative.

Reviews:

  • User lethargilistic (Score: 6/10):
The ending credits and a little special feature at the end include live action footage of the actors recording their lines and hyping up the OVA, which is really cool. They're dressed in 90s business outfits and they absolutely made sure to have the same hairstyles as the girls in the anime. Or maybe those were ubiquitous then, ohoho. It's cute. I wouldn't go in expecting belly laughs or an unexpected storyline. There's nice music, but not a lot of it. If you're into stories about women who know what they want and who want to look good getting it, this is for you.
