Synopsis:

Having progressed to the fifth floor of Sword Art Online, Kirito and Asuna encounter a landscape of decaying grandeur – ruins and catacombs hinting at a forgotten history. The initial tranquility is quickly disrupted by escalating conflict between the dominant guilds, Dragon’s Knights Brigade and Aincrad Liberation Squad, jeopardizing the coordinated efforts to clear the game.

This endeavor also compels Asuna and Misumi Tozawa to confront unresolved feelings stemming from a previous traumatic event.
