Synopsis:
The story centers on Takasumi Takane, an academically-focused eleven-year-old whose aspirations for a new bicycle are complicated by a careless lie and its unforeseen consequences. A series of unfortunate events leads him to a clandestine encounter with Yoyogi, a mysterious individual possessing evidence of his fabricated exam results. Yoyogi’s offer of a trade escalates into a perilous situation when he absorbs Takane's sister, Tamaki, transforming her into a crystalline form. Driven by remorse and responsibility, Takane accepts Yoyogi’s challenge: a race using his damaged bicycle. The stakes are high – the fate of his sister rests on his ability to overcome Yoyogi in a contest demanding both physical endurance and strategic resolve within an unusual and unsettling world.
