Synopsis:
Set against a historical India steeped in spiritual and political tension, this anime follows Siddhartha’s early journey of self-discovery. Discarding his privileged life as a prince, Siddhartha embarks on a quest to understand the nature of suffering and seek a path towards tranquility. His travels lead him to encounters with enigmatic figures, including Assaji, who possesses unsettling precognitive abilities, and a solitary monk carrying a quiet wisdom. As Siddhartha witnesses widespread hardship, he dedicates himself to finding solutions for a world plagued by turmoil. Simultaneously, the kingdom of Kosara, led by Prince Ruri, initiates a conflict that threatens the stability of Siddhartha's homeland, forcing him to confront the realities of power and war amidst his spiritual pursuits. The story explores themes of fate, societal unrest, and the individual's role in shaping a more peaceful existence.
