Synopsis:
Set in a near-future world grappling with widespread apathy and a mysterious phenomenon known as the "Sacred Gear," *Guilty Crown* explores the hidden struggles beneath a seemingly utopian surface. The narrative centers on Shu Ouma, a seemingly emotionless high school student who becomes entangled in a conflict between underground resistance groups and a powerful organization manipulating society.
The series delves into themes of identity, empathy, and the cost of power, as characters confront their own emotional limitations and the moral ambiguities of fighting for change. A blend of action and psychological drama unfolds amidst sleek, urban environments and intense combat sequences. The story emphasizes character relationships and personal growth within a world where individuals are defined by their ability to wield extraordinary abilities.

This was a masterpiece of the ages. Even though it was only a minute long you can see that Production I.G. does it again, rivaling the famed Makoto Shinkai in storytelling. I was having constipation while I was doing my business and needed some eye candy to distract myself. Needless to say I spent half an hour after my plopping was done staring at the wall feeling crushed and lost at what I should do. The breathtaking animation moved me, and you can tell that they put a full episode's worth of budget in that minute. And that's not even getting to the character development.I never thought I would see the day someone would surpass Shinkai's 6 minute shorts, but damn oh damn. This one minute had more character development regarding Inori than the whole entire series of Guilty Crown! nnFor the sound, I gave it a 10. The instant you hear the singer let her vocals out and wail, your heart moves with the sadness and melancholy. You can say that this is Ryo's masterpiece as he tried many times to emulate this song but could never achieve his level of greatness again. nnI recommend this video to everyone, young and new, to experience what is truly a devout and ecstatic tragedy between the truly modern day telling of The Phantom of the Opera. -

This is one of the best song from EGOIST. The first time I heard this song was when it aired on the opening theme of the anime Guilty Crown. When this opening song started, I really didn't skip this song and kept listening to it until the end. The video clip visual of this song is also quite good and spectacular, has a variety of bright colors, and this combined with animated visuals that are quite modern for its time. After I finished the Guilty Crown anime, I immediately looked for the full version of this song. This song is really good. The music isin the JPOP genre, but it also seems to use EDM music. The beat of this song is also fantastic, making you want to keep listening to the end. The Everlasting Guilty Crown is sung by Celly from the Egoist Band. After all, Egoist is one of my favorite artists.
