The series follows Arisu Tachibana, a dedicated student pursuing an idol career who is selected for a novel project by her company. She and eight other young performers are brought together under a new producer, whose unconventional appearance and inexperience create immediate uncertainty within the group. The producer's earnest enthusiasm for idols, however, contrasts with the girls’ initial disappointment, fostering a dynamic built on shared aspirations.
The narrative explores the challenges of navigating the entertainment industry while grappling with personal expectations and evolving relationships. It depicts the formative stages of an idol group, focusing on the dedication required to reach the stage and the bonds forged through shared passion. The story emphasizes the complexities of mentorship and the potential for growth when unconventional pairings embrace a common goal.
