The series follows Kong Hongjun, a young man raised in isolation on a remote mountain, as he ventures into the bustling city of Chang'an. Forced to navigate the complexities of courtly life, Kong Hongjun must work alongside Li Jinglong – a difficult proposition given the general's biases – while concealing his true nature and attempting to reclaim the artifact.
