I love Tiger & Bunny and recently binge watched the entire thing. Then I found out they had two movies, and even a special. I finally finished the movies and got to the special, only to realize that most people on MAL rated it as a 6! And only 67 people have seen it. I was shocked by the numbers, until I searched for the anime on the internet. I realized there were no English subtitles, but the raw version can be found on the internet according to people who commented on some site so it made sense why many people haven't seen it. Idecided to watch it raw ( easy for me because I speak Japanese ), hoping that it would be a good special because it's about some kind of orchestra.nnI was very disappointed. This is not a good special and I would not recommend it. The story is terrible. Since the synposis doesn't really explain what it's about, I will summarize it for you. This special is basically about how the heroes decided to form a new band to perform a orchestra at Justice Hall. Also, the anime is really misleading in my opinion. For example, on the picture of this special it shows Kotetsu holding a trumpet and Barnaby holding a violin. I expected them to be playing it but it turns out they played completely different instruments in this special. The characters were good but a bit annoying in this special because they kept arguing over pointless things for a long time. There wasn't really any character development though. The animation is as good as the original anime and it's amazing, and the voice acting is great. The worst part would be that they didn't even put any music in this anime when it should have at least a song or two, especially because it's about music. At least it's watchable so I was able to get through all of that, but I was expecting more from this special.nnI think many Tiger & Bunny fans may get disappointed from watching this special. It's outrageous that it's been a year and nobody has translated this though, but if it gets translated I'm sure most people would feel the same way as me. Anyway if you're expecting this to be the same quality as the original, you won't like it. In my opinion, this was a fail because they didn't have a lot of music... for a special about music and just laughable. -

Tiger & Bunny is known for being all about superheroes, mystery, drama, and action. That being said, this special is not here to deliver on those genres. Tiger & Bunny: Too Many Cooks Spoil the Broth is an extra little treat for fans of the franchise that want to see just a few more minutes of their favorite characters getting to relax, goof off together, and have a laugh. You will not find any action or plot really necessary to see, nor is it particularly high budget or well done, but if you enjoy the characters, particularly in more slice-of-life settings, you will get atleast some enjoyment out of this special.nnThe criticism online is very harsh, but as a fan who has consumed the rest of the content offered for the franchise, I do believe this special holds value, if only just for giving viewers a more complete understanding of the characters themselves as they're forced to work together in yet another, albeit no-stakes, situation they must endure. Plus we get a heartwarming moment between the number one hero duo themselves, showing us once again how much Kotetsu cares for Bunny. That alone makes this special worth dropping a quick 17 minutes to watch.
