Here we have a threat for those who still desire even more of To Heart Season One after they are done watching the main series but are not ready to jump straight into another anime just yet. To Heart Omake might not be anything special when it comes to the realm of special emitions, but it manages to capture pretty well the To Heart spirit in the brief 27 minutes of its total duration and put a jolly good show while doign so. It is able to lean even more into the comedic and episodic nature of the franchise at large while not sacrificing quality orcompromise the personalities of the franchise's characters in order to pull a laugh or two out of the audience. It is sort of a non-obligatory-to-watch compliement to the main show were we get to see the more personal side of the characters we all know and love at this point. Again, perfect for those who still desire more of that sweet, sweet taste To Heart Season One provides or simply anime completionists, I'd say it works both ways since it makes a good and entertaining watching nonetheless.nnDuring the 27-minute run of To Heart Omake you will see: Kotone trying to pull a stunt with her psychic powers inside her house to mixed results, a crazy episode were the girl's personalities switch with one another seemingly out of nowhere just to pivot into a somewhat bizarre turn at the end of the whole ordeal, Serika messing up with her black magic books accidentally summoning a lovecraftian presence into the school, Hiroyuki going fishing with one his friends to a local river, Multi and Serio working together at a library, and an unexpected throwback to the very first episode of the main series in the very last chapter of this special. nnAs you can see, we got the whole mixed back of eccentric and normal situations mixed together as it they were nothing that this franchise should be an staple of already. I honestly choose to believe that the contents of this special are not canon to the show overall since I am pretty sure its lore implications would screw with and completely mess a thing or two in the main series and in more than one way, lol.nnYou enjoyed the main To Heart series? Chances are you will enjoy the To Heart Omake specials aswell. What are you waiting for? These specials only take a combined 27 minutes to watch at maximun. You are missing into more To Heart contents by skipping Omake. Go give it a try, you will not regret it.
