Synopsis:
Set against a backdrop of melancholic beauty, this short animation explores themes of longing and fleeting connection. The story unfolds through evocative imagery centered around a young woman and a solitary figure in a quiet, almost dreamlike environment. Visuals emphasize natural landscapes and intimate moments, portraying a subtle emotional landscape rather than explicit narrative. The piece invites contemplation on the nature of memory and the bittersweet quality of passing encounters. It’s less concerned with plot and more focused on cultivating a specific atmosphere—one of quiet introspection and understated emotion, leaving much open to interpretation by the viewer. The overall effect is a deeply personal and visually striking experience prioritizing mood over traditional storytelling conventions.

I found this by browsing the Mahou Shoujo genre for new things I've missed, this was there and I remembered seeing it free on YouTube from the artist who wrote it. Thought it'd be a good opportunity to review it since no one else has at this point in time. This is an extremely pretty music video using the theme song of Sailor Moon Cosmos which I have yet to see. The character designs are stunning and I wish I could learn more about them, the colors and art style feel so good and I actually kind of wish we got an actual anime inthis style and with these characters. Overall the plot seems nice and mysterious although it's just a music video so most story elements are up to interpretation, but I could see the feelings behind the characters' faces and actions. It feels like a genuine opening to an anime, I love it! If you like Sailor Moon, you'll probably like this. How it's not anything more then a music video so if you're searching for anything more you may be disappointed.
