    Synopsis:

    The series follows Ueno, a gifted middle school student with a penchant for invention. Driven by an unrequited affection for her classmate Tanaka, Ueno dedicates her considerable scientific talents to manipulating his environment. Her creations range from practical solutions like water purification to more unusual applications, all aimed at provoking a reaction from the oblivious Tanaka. Supported by her pragmatic friend Yamashita, Ueno’s methods take increasingly unconventional turns as she attempts to engineer a romantic response.

    The narrative explores themes of self-doubt, the complexities of affection, and the often humorous disconnect between intellectual pursuits and emotional understanding.
