Synopsis:

Following the activities of the vocal unit Urashimasakatasen, this series presents a glimpse into the everyday lives of its four members. The narrative shifts between their public persona as performers and their experiences navigating high school life as Uratanuki, Shima, Tonari no Sakata, and Senra. The anime cultivates a gently comedic atmosphere, focusing on interpersonal dynamics and the subtle challenges of balancing personal aspirations with societal expectations. It explores themes of friendship, shared dreams, and the quiet moments that define formative years. Expect a character-driven story emphasizing relatable situations and understated humor rather than grand conflicts or dramatic plotlines. The series offers an intimate look at the bonds formed through artistic collaboration and the journey of self-discovery within a close-knit group.

I came to watch this just because I knew the band for a while and not long ago I heard they got actually an anime so I really needed to check it out, without having any expectations. I MUST SAY that this short serie should NOT be hated because this is a fan series for UraShimaSakataSen STANS (the utaite band) so please NO HATE towards this anime in case you come just to watch a seasonal serie without any idea what the background of the band is about! I can't express how much joy these guys brings me and I'm proud to say now I officially stanthis band because I totally fell in love after seeing them for the first time in Peacock Epoch, not to mention ALL their voices KILLS ME when they sing and talk normaly. nNow watching this, I expected to finally find and pick a favorite but it became even harder lol I CAN'T EVEN PICK A FAVORITE, all of them are different in some way but ALL are cute, adorable and sexy with cute, adorable and sexy voices (EQUALLY) ... like I said, they bring joy and smile on my facennSTORY: 7 (good)nHonestly, the story line was kinda made in a silly way but for them it woked well for their silliness ahaha They managed the plot to work for them in a way to be fun... and yes I laughed at every episodennART: 8 (very good)nThey were cute, sexy and hot before the anime, NOW THEY ARE EVEN MORE CUTTER. That chibi design suits their personalities and it's just adorable!! I wanna squiiiizzzz them! At the beginning I wished their character desing looked just like the one in the opening but I got used to it while watching and became more reasonable for the story-tellingnnSOUND: 9 (great)nInitially I came to watch this just to get to know them better and listen to their voices because I'm a sucker for good (seiyuus) voices and I want to learn and distinguish them by their voices. This is actually easy because Senra has the most 'different'/unique voice when he talks so it's eaaasy to recognise him by his voice. Sakata would be the second one I could easily recognise, it's something about his voice that's unique.nI adore the opening, it's so fun to watch and listen to it! I DIDN'T SKIP AT ALL whatsoever! We were more like watching each episode for the opening lol ~ very catchy <3nnCHARACTER: 9 (great)nTHEY ARE ABSOLUTELY GREAT! I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM!! I can't give 10 because I just got into them this week...but FOR SURE I know I LOVE them alreadynUrata - He caught my attention first because of his duo with Sakata in Dark Side Fantasy (i'm obsessed with that song) and I 100000% fell in love with his voice and looks in just a second. I can see that he got the most fans if I'm not mistaking, even tho they seem to be equally appreciated which…

Most of the time I thought: will this ever gonna be funny? Story: I haven't really gotten into the story because it was too mainly focused on the jokes, about which I will write at Enjoyment. Art: It was ok. Not outstanding but it wasn't irritating and chibis are allways good for comedy-Animes, in my opinion. Sound: The only thing that I really liked about the Anime was the Opening. It has a good rythm and is really matching for a comedy- Anime. The Ending and the OST where ok, not outstanding but also not irritating.Character:nThey where not really good elaborated, in the end I knew nothing about them and that's not how a Character should be in my opinion.nnEnjoyment:nYeah... I don't know how the Anime did this but it was just not funny. It could be, that you watch this Anime and find it extremely funny but I personally didn't found it funny. I can't even explain why, I'm very sorry. But I have to admit, in these 12 episodes where ca. 3 gags that where good.nnIn the end have everyone just the choice to see it to make a opinion of his/her own. I can just say, that it was an Anime that I personally didn't enjoyed.

with the minimal potential such a short anime has, this definitely was one of those anime that people will either genuinely really enjoy or just not find interesting at all; you got an extremely solid cast for the most part, each having limited defining character traits yet interesting niches which actually makes them memorable to a degree aside from the characters, the story is entirely episodic tho each episode presents an actual decent storyline with a surprising element here and there, but with an outstanding three minutes per episode, the show's constant attempts to congest so much content into every episode can be a little bitforced, although it's surprisingly very much easy to follownnthe visuals are appealing too, although as seen in the op and multiple really short scenes throughout the episodes with non-chibi designs, definitely had a lot more potential, though admittedly the stylization really suits the nature of the anime itselfnnif there's anything to highlight about this show, it's the sheer nonsense and unpredictability that occurs every episode, which i believe is the make or break for anyone watching this, as it's either the funniest or the most annoying thing you've ever seen, and probably the most major setback in the typical short comedy anime of the likes of thisnnfrom my personal viewing experience, i never really got a rise out of the comedy, except for like one unexpected gag per episode, tho what really carried this show for me was the entertainment and energetic storytelling, alongside the fact that i'm a bit of a fan of absurdismnnone thing i can say for sure is that it's definitely a great time consumer considering how short it is, so i'd recommend at least the first episode or two to everyone, as it makes the gist of the story clear, although in an objective lens, this anime isn't really that high up there at all, though admittedly good for the approach they tried to take.n6.4/10
