Synopsis:

Following the passing of her grandmother, young Hiyori struggles with persistent grief. Her father, attempting to ease her sorrow, constructs Washimo, a remarkably lifelike automaton designed to resemble the deceased matriarch. While Washimo's movements are deliberately slow and somewhat comical – a deliberate contrast to the urgency of Hiyori’s emotions – the robot possesses unexpected speed, capable of outpacing even high-speed trains. The series explores themes of loss, memory, and the complexities of coping with bereavement through an unconventional lens.
