Synopsis:
Set within the stratified world of the Great Yan Empire, where lineage dictates status, the narrative follows Lin Dong, an individual exiled from the prestigious Lin Clan. Haunted by a childhood trauma – witnessing his father’s defeat at the hands of Lin Langtian, a prodigious member of the clan – Dong harbors a consuming desire for retribution. His journey begins with quiet determination, but takes an unexpected turn upon discovering a cryptic stone talisman. This discovery hints at potential beyond personal vengeance and suggests a path toward unforeseen power. The story explores themes of familial honor, social hierarchy, and the potential for individual strength to challenge deeply ingrained systems within a society defined by inherited prestige. Expect a character-driven narrative focusing on perseverance and the unfolding consequences of embracing an unknown destiny.

I can't believe no one gave WDQK a review? This anime is awesome to watch I couldn't wait for the next episode to come out. I am so looking forward to Season 2 please hurry lol. Has a similar build up as most anime leads off where the MC is weak at first then becomes stronger. The MC has to protect and serve his family's honor, fight stronger villains and goes through a few trials to overcome them. Only 12eps but it's like One Punch series it draws you in. The battles are very interesting similar to Tales of Demons and GODs the fighting tournaments. -

Just don't watch this show. Watch something else, because this show doesn't make sense unless you read the Manhua. Just watch Soul Land instead. For starters, the best experience you could watch these online is if it has good quality and the fans subs are translated well. Most of the time, they are not. With the fansubs not being well done (although I thank them, it's as if they're using google translate at times) and the absurd pacing, this show is just not enjoyable. For starters, too much happens in these 12 episodes that it doesn't give room for you to understand the situation nordoes it give us any idea about the characters. The pacing is too fast and it seems that they are trying to crunch in as much of the Manhua into the anime as possible, but it probably leaves out so much. The characters have nothing memorable about them and and can be summarized in one phrase. nnSo many events happen that they don't go over how their power/ki/energy system is structured or how they make sense until episode 6. I had to search up what these power increases or different abilities are and how they interact to form new abilities. For all you know, they could be pulling abilities out their ass to win a fight and I wouldn't even know if it makes sense because the explanation of the system and structure of the power scale are not present. You shouldn't be searching up what powers/abilities/energy types these characters have and how they make sense for a show; it should be explained in the show or at least make sense. But they don't. nnArt and Sound are whatever. nnDon't give this a shot, you deserve better. -

I'll start off with saying season one is worse than season two. -The overall plot (the motivating factor driving the MC) is extremely lackluster in comparison to stories like BTTH and TDG -All the bad guys are shallow with copied and pasted characteristics -The characters in general lack personality and are pretty shallow -The cultivation rate of the MC is ridiculously fast paced and is 100% luck based with no skill -Harem-y like other of its genre but not as strong. Love it or hate it I guess. If you're looking for something great, I'd say pass but if you enjoy watching generic Xianxia/ Wuxia donghua for the genreitself then power through season one and get to season two where you will see improvements from what I said above. - ... and 2 more reviews
