Synopsis:
Set against the backdrop of 1960s Tokyo, this series follows Shin, whose life is irrevocably altered by tragedy – the loss of his mother leaving him vulnerable to misfortune. He finds an unlikely ally in Itsuki, who shares a similar past pain, having also lost a sibling. Together, they are joined by Tae, a young woman with the ability to perceive the spirit world. Guided by Shin's guardian spirit, Suu-san, and encountering various youkai, the trio embarks on a quest to recover the souls of their loved ones. Their investigation unveils a deeper, more complex mystery, hinting at the origins of the underworld's authority figure, Lord Enma. The narrative explores themes of loss, connection, and the delicate balance between the human and spirit realms, presented with a contemplative and atmospheric approach.
