Synopsis:

Yumeji Fujiwara lives a seemingly ordinary life as a high school student, harboring a peculiar ability: he perceives the dreams of others through their auras. His gift, typically used for lighthearted amusement, takes a dark turn when a recurring nightmare begins bleeding into his waking hours, orchestrated by a malevolent dream demon seeking physical embodiment. Intervention comes in the form of Merry Nightmare, an unusual dream demon unbound from a host and striving to restore balance between the dream world and reality.

The narrative follows Yumeji and Merry as they confront a growing incursion of dream entities threatening to manifest nightmares in the waking world. The series explores themes of consciousness, identity, and the blurred lines between the subconscious and reality. It presents a contemplative atmosphere, blending supernatural elements with the everyday anxieties of adolescence, as the protagonists navigate a fight for control over both their minds and the world around them.
