Synopsis:
Set against the backdrop of late 19th-century Great Britain, a nation defined by its vast empire and stratified society, the series explores themes of social inequality and rebellion. The rigid economic system dictates worth based on inherited status and wealth, effectively trapping many within predetermined roles. William James Moriarty, outwardly conforming to his noble upbringing while secretly assisting the working class, harbors a profound resentment towards this established order.
Driven by a desire for systemic change, William, along with his brothers, navigates a morally complex landscape. Their actions challenge the foundations of British society, blurring the lines between justice and vengeance as they pursue their goals. The narrative unfolds with a focus on character dynamics and the consequences of challenging entrenched power structures in a world where social mobility is virtually nonexistent.
