    Synopsis:

    In a fractured world defined by endless conflict between humanity and witchcraft, individuals known as Beastfallen exist on the fringes. Marked by animalistic traits and considerable physical strength, they are often marginalized and forced into mercenary work. The series follows a Beastfallen, nicknamed "Mercenary," who finds himself unexpectedly bound to Zero, a spirited witch seeking the legendary Grimoire of Zero – a spellbook rumored to hold immense power. Alongside Albus, a budding magician, Mercenary journeys across a war-torn landscape.

    The narrative explores themes of prejudice and understanding as the trio navigates a world steeped in hostility. As they pursue the Grimoire, Mercenary grapples with his own identity while developing unexpected empathy for both humans and witches, fostering bonds with his companions that challenge the established order.
