Animation looked good and Plot started with interesting premise, but not much progress is made after 26 episodes with just one sect competition event. Story progress was very basic with unresolved small tensions and no world building beyond the sect. Characters look promising but again not much character development either except a few developing friendships without much emotions and bonding so far. Cultivation levels and powers/sword skills are not clearly explained and MC's upper hand over others with higher cultivation is not much explained either. MC doesn't use much knowledge from his past lives either or maybe he does but it's not explained. Whole season islacking in fight scenes even when they happen they are very dissappointing, Sword techniques all look the same, just have different random names to sound cool. I am hoping next season will improve on these things, but so far not really watch worthy.nIs a 4/5 rating but giving 6 for good animation quality and future potential. -

Zhu Tian Ji is a reincarnation series where Lin Fei, a member of the Sword inquiry sect who couldn't cultivate saw all his sect comrades perish in a catastrophe against the Demon God. With built up conviction to get revenge for his sect-mates Lin Fei uses up all his resources to defeat the Demon God and ends up sacrificing himself in the process. Lin Fei is sent back in time before the catastrophe and has his memories intact along with a special manual for cultivation. Will he be able to protect his sect from doom? Story & Character: 5/10 I'll be honest Zhu Tian Ji is nodifferent from your typical regression style martial arts series. The main character has travels back in time with their memories intact and takes advantage of all the plot events before they happen to consume them for himself. Although there are some rivalries between disciples of different peaks, Zhu Tian Ji doesn't dwell on the rivalries or unnecessary subplots like internal conflicts, betrayals and corrupt elders. However, like the typical martial arts series Zhu Tian Ji follows similar arcs with common events like tournaments, dimensional training and more. This makes the story very predictable and restricts the world-building scope to the Sword Inquiry sect. nnZhu Tian Ji starts off with a small amount of characters and branches out gradually introducing new sect disciples and Peak masters. This works well with the story but it makes the characters that join later in the story less developed than the earlier ones. An example is Senior Brother Song Tianxing vs Tang Tiandu. Song Tianxing has been with Lin Fei since the beginning and overtime his personality has changed and his malice turns into benevolence. Whereas Tang Tiandu who is introduced later feels shallow and is only known for his aggressive outlashes against the other disciples including Lin Fei. The other characters feel the same way, they feel superficially constructed to generate conflict and obstacles to the story that shouldn't need to be.nnnArt & Sound: 6/10nThe art is of a mid tier donghua and lower tier CGI. It doesn't lack in its cinematography during fight scenes but in all other scenes the overall shot styles and textures lack heavily. The character rigging is done fairly well with body parts but poorly with facial features especially mouth movements. The hair and loose clothing have their own physics which is good to see during still shots and even moving scenes.nnThe sound is passable in both sound effects and voice acting. They were of good quality and the sound effects were suitable. A small selection of songs were used to create emotional impacts on the scene; An example of this is an epic/heroic beat being used whenever something impactful would occur and it eventually became a strong theme song with a lot of substance. There is another track that is used for when unexpected moments happen and Lin Fei is confused that definitely suits the mood and scenes. nnOverall & Enjoyment: 6/10nThere… -

I really like this donghua a lot, especially for the story, idk but i just feel so touched i guess, i can relate with the mc that lost his shifu, shixiong, but due to reincarnation still have to face the same environment in his sect that will always remind u about their death. IMO, the animation is good enough, quite pleasing to my eyes. Also argh the opening is surely my fav, i keep playing it on YT over and over. So curious for the next season, DO NOT MAKE ME WAIT FOR TOO LONG T____T pls Note: Just go watch this donghua and rate itby urself Guys
